Universal Tape Company offers a wide variety of stock, as well as custom coated, double and single coated foam tapes.

Our standard products consist of 1/32”, 1/16” or 1/8” white PE foam coated with either acrylic or rubber adhesive systems. 

​

Our custom coating abilities allow for various color options (ie: gray, black, white) as well as additional thicknesses up to ½” thick base foam.  We have several adhesive options we can coat to best fit your application, including multiple permanent formulations, as well as removable adhesives for temporary mounting applications.

Our coating lines allow for roll lengths up to 864’ and widths up to 63”, while our converting department can slit to widths as narrow as 1/8” and provide spooled roll lengths up to 10,000’.

Composition

Foam tape is an indispensable tool in both household and industrial settings, offering a reliable solution for a multitude of tasks that require strong adhesion, cushioning, and sealing capabilities.

For best application results, bonding surfaces should be clean, dry, and well unified before applying foam tape. The ideal application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C), however, we have adhesive options for both low and high temperature use.  Applying tape at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.
