Universal Tape Company’s ATG product line consists of many options ranging in both adhesive thickness (2mil up to 5mil) and roll length (18yds up to 36yds depending on thickness).  Most products are manufactured for use application with Adhesive Transfer Gun’s (handheld dispensers), however we can also manufacture most of our tapes on 3” ID cores at lengths up to 360yds for industrial applications.

Adhesive transfer tape (ATG tape) is a double-sided, pressure-sensitive adhesive that comes on plastic rolls and is protected by a removable liner on one side.  ATG tape is the industry standard for many commercial printing applications, and is also useful for many other home projects, such as:

ATG tape can create a strong, durable bond with many materials, including:

Plastic, Metal, Vinyl, Cloth, Paper, Most plastic films, and Metal foils.

Some of our ATG tapes are also acid-free, which can help protect art, photos, and prints. ATG tape has several features and benefits, including: Glass stabilization for cleaner unwinding, Excellent adhesion, and Ultra-violet light has little or no effect on adhesive. 

​

For best results, bonding surfaces should be clean, dry, and well unified before applying ATG tape. The ideal application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C), and applying the tape at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.
